Dharmabad is the smallest taluka in Nanded district by population - 96,776 at the 2011 Census - across 339 square kilometres, giving a density of 285 per square kilometre. It sits at the district's eastern edge, on the Telangana boundary.
One location only: opposite Citizen Gym, Deglour Naka, Nanded 431604. Customers from Dharmabad travel to that centre. There is no outcall or home-visit service.
Dharmabad lies where the district meets Telangana, in the Godavari corridor at the eastern end of Nanded district. The river is the defining geographic feature here, and the taluka's position on the state boundary gives it a mixed orientation - part towards Nanded, part towards the towns across the border.
It is one of the four smallest talukas in the district by area, and the smallest of all by population, so Dharmabad town serves a compact rather than sprawling catchment.

Dharmabad railway station sits on the Secunderabad-Manmad line and has two platforms. Because Nanded is on the same line, rail is often the simplest way to make the journey.
