A small eastern taluka with its own railway station, around 20 km from Mudkhed Junction.
Umri is a small eastern taluka - 373 square kilometres, with a Census 2011 population of 99,019 and a density of 265 per square kilometre, below the district average. It is the second smallest taluka in the district by population, ahead only of Dharmabad.
One location only: opposite Citizen Gym, Deglour Naka, Nanded 431604. Customers from Umri travel to that centre. There is no outcall or home-visit service.
Umri sits in the eastern part of the district between Mudkhed to the north-west and Dharmabad and Biloli to the south. It is one of only four talukas in Nanded district under 400 square kilometres.
The below-average population density reflects a predominantly rural taluka where the headquarters town serves a modest catchment rather than a large urban population.

Umri railway station is around 20 km from Mudkhed Junction, and Mudkhed connects onward to Nanded, making rail a practical option.
