Mudkhed taluka · Nanded district
A compact taluka built around a four-platform railway junction north-east of Nanded.
Mudkhed is a small taluka - 336 square kilometres, the second smallest in the district - with a Census 2011 population of 115,696 and a density of 344 per square kilometre, slightly above the district average. Its significance comes from the railway rather than its size.
One location only: opposite Citizen Gym, Deglour Naka, Nanded 431604. Customers from Mudkhed travel to that centre. There is no outcall or home-visit service.
Mudkhed sits north-east of Nanded city, bordering Ardhapur and Bhokar. The taluka is compact and comparatively well settled for the northern half of the district, which is largely a consequence of the rail junction and the activity that grew around it.
It is one of only four talukas in the district under 400 square kilometres, alongside Ardhapur, Dharmabad and Umri.

Mudkhed Junction is the key fact here. The Adilabad branch line departs from it to the north-east, and stations along that branch include Bhokar, Himayatnagar, Sahasrakund and Kinwat. Umri station is around 20 km from Mudkhed and Bhokar around 21 km.
National Highway 161A passes through Mudkhed on its route linking Mahur, Kinwat, Himayatnagar, Mudkhed, Waghala and Mukhed - which means Mudkhed sits on a corridor that runs directly into the Nanded Waghala area.

Our centre is in Nanded only - opposite Citizen Gym, Deglour Naka. We do not operate a branch in Mudkhed. Given the road and rail links between the two, most Mudkhed customers find the journey straightforward.
