Deep Tissue · Nanded
Slower, firmer, more concentrated pressure on the areas that feel tightest - 60 minutes, Rs 800.
Deep tissue massage is the firm-pressure option: 60 minutes of slower, more concentrated work for Rs 800. Instead of moving continuously across the whole body, the therapist stays with the areas you have identified as tight - most often the upper back and shoulders, or the legs after training - and works them at a pressure you set. It is the session gym-goers most often ask for by name. If you would rather have gentle, flowing work, ask for a Swedish massage instead.
The back is where most of this hour ends up. If you have been searching for a back massage in Nanded, deep tissue and Swedish are the two sessions that cover it: deep tissue if you want firm, concentrated attention across the upper back and shoulders, Swedish if you want something lighter and more flowing. Either way, name the areas you want at the start, and keep telling the therapist how the pressure feels as the session goes on.
The defining features of deep tissue work are pressure and pace. The therapist uses slower, more deliberate strokes and applies firmer, more sustained pressure to a smaller area, rather than gliding across a large one. Sixty minutes can sound like a long time for a short list of areas, and that is rather the point - the hour goes into covering the same ground again at a firmer pressure, not into covering more of it.
Back work makes up most of the requests. A typical session spends the bulk of the hour on the upper back, between and around the shoulder blades, and into the shoulders and neck, with the legs added if you have been training. Because the work is concentrated, a deep tissue session usually covers fewer areas than a longer relaxation session would, and that is a choice you make at the start rather than something decided for you.
Firm does not mean painful. There is a real difference between pressure that feels strong and productive and pressure that makes you tense up and hold your breath - and tensing works against the whole point of the session. The useful range is firm but tolerable, and only you can tell the therapist where that line sits. Communication matters more here than in any other style, so say clearly when the pressure should increase or ease off. It is entirely normal to feel some tenderness in a worked area for a day or so afterwards.
Every session takes place at our one centre: opposite Citizen Gym, Deglour Naka, Nanded. We do not operate branches elsewhere in Nanded district and we do not offer visits to your home or hotel.
We are open Every day, 9:30 AM - 11:00 PM. If you are travelling in from outside the city, the location pages set out the road and rail routes from each taluka.
Questions
A deep tissue massage at Relax Body Massage Centre is Rs 800 for a 60-minute session. It is the firmest and most concentrated session on our list. To book, message us on WhatsApp at +91 99221 61030 - we are open every day from 9:30 AM to 11:00 PM, opposite Citizen Gym at Deglour Naka.
It should feel firm, not painful. The useful range is strong but tolerable - if you find yourself tensing up or holding your breath, the pressure is too high and you should say so. The therapist will adjust immediately, and you can ask for it to ease off at any point in the 60 minutes.
Pressure and pace. A Swedish massage moves continuously across the body at a lighter to moderate pressure, and runs 60 minutes for Rs 500. Deep tissue slows down and applies firmer, more sustained pressure to a smaller number of areas you name, and runs 60 minutes for Rs 800. It covers less ground and works each area harder.
Yes. Most deep tissue sessions end up concentrated on the back and shoulders anyway, and you can ask for the whole hour to go there. Say so at the start. It is still the 60-minute deep tissue massage at Rs 800 - the price is for the session, not per area. If you want the back worked more gently, ask for a Swedish massage instead.
It is the style gym-goers most often ask for, because it concentrates on the areas that feel worked rather than spreading the hour thinly. Give yourself some time afterwards rather than heading straight back into a heavy training session, and leave heavy lifting for another evening.
Some tenderness in a worked area for a day or so is common after firm-pressure work. Drink water and take it easy. If anything feels wrong rather than simply tender, speak to a qualified medical professional - we make no medical claims, and a massage is not a substitute for medical advice.
